The input of the machine is the pedals and the output are the wheels of the bike. The input of the motion of the bike is rotary and the motion for the output is rotary. The input is the pencil or anything you want to sharpen and the output is the razers. The motion for the input is rotary and the output rotary. The pencil is place inside and the machine knows this causing the razers to do a rotary movement cutting pieces of the pencil sharpening them.
