After watching this television series to its entirety it made me realize how important this subject is to me. These moms always consider others and put their children before them in every situation. There is little to no freedom in this society, there is government surveillance everywhere, and “thoughtcrimes” are punishable by death. Reading this book made me realize how much I take for granted the world and society I live in today. We are free to have our own thoughts and belief system unlike the characters in 1984. We are free to say and think what we wish without any punishment. We are free to do what we want, with the only restrictions being the law, which is out in place to protect us. Then, before we know it we have wasted away precious years of our lives. You make your first impression with your physical appearance which includes what you wear. Fashion provides an outlet to express how you feel by wearing and coordinating colors, and by wearing certain styles, patterns, or graphics. You can layer up or layer down, wear bright colors or dark colors, tight clothes or baggy clothes, and so on. You can pair your outfit with different shoes or accessories to change the mood of your outfit.
