Bed and Breakfast.

The news reporter asked me to sit down on his set. He continued to ask me questions about the incident with the landlady. I started to talk while flashbacking at the moment. I started to talk.

“Well, I remember I was coming home from my grandma’s house late into the night, while I was walking home I noticed a strange house that was old and that it has been there for a few years now.

It read:

Bed and Breakfast

I knew it was late but I didn’t know the time. The sign pulled me in closer. “I need a place to sleep,” I said without control.

“I need to rest.” “I'm also pretty hungry”

I walked up to one step at a time. With no hesitation, I tried to turn around and run but with no luck, the landlady swung the door open, and out she was standing up as straight as a tree.

She started, “hello there, I’ve been waiting for you sweet dear Billy.”

I responded, “H-How do you know my name?”

“Just come on in because I know that you are tired.”

At this point, I knew that she was a creep and I would need to get out of this horrific place as soon as possible. She later invited me to sit down on her 2 two perfectly placed old, gross, and red chairs. We sat down and I was trembling, my hands were shaking, my heart was pounding like a rock and the conversation started.

“So where are you coming from?”

“Oh just from grandma's house, why?”

“Oh really? That’s nice but you're going to want to stay here for the night. It's going to be a long one.”

What did she mean by long one? My thoughts started rushing to my head. Is she a murderer? Will I make it out of here alive? How will I get out of here?

A long pause started until I spoke.

“So where will I be sleeping tonight?”

“Just up the stairs where everyone else is.”

How many people are in this place? I needed to leave.

She stood up and said, “Follow me over to the signup sheet.”

She was for some reason leading me to the basement. Of course, it’s the basement.

There was a small staircase leading down to the basement. Each step my legs almost snapped due to the anxiety. A sign on the wall said:

Sign up Sheet Inside Door

She told me to step inside.

I stepped inside the basement and took a few steps, picked up the pen, and before I knew it I heard a large cree-ek than a massive BOOM! The door slammed behind me with a quick locking noise following it up. I ran up to it and first tried the doorknob but it wouldn’t turn.

“There is no escaping now Billy, you will have to stay in there for the rest of your life.” She said with a wicked laugh.

“You're crazy! I said with a shaky voice.

Two other men laid beside me as they both grasped their stomachs. I had asked them a few times if they had any way to contact anyone.

One guy who had a ripped shirt and shorts had said that he has been in here for a few months and all she has been doing is giving him a few small meals a day.

I tried the door again and to my surprise, the door opened and she was sitting on her chair reading a book. The others and I snuck out of the front door, ran as fast as we could but it was hard for the others to keep up because they had been in there for so long. We ran outside to the nearest building and begged for their help. They helped us and we lived another day.
