The first thing that comes to mind about reducing my carbon footprint is buying more local food. For example I found 20 local farms to buy fruits, vegetables, etc from. Another thing that comes to mind about reducing my carbon footprint is eating less meat. For example, I can eat less meat by not having as much meat in meals. I can had more vegetables and nuts from the local farms. Another thing that comes to mind is composting. I can use a trash bin to put the left over food in, and add some other materials. Then daily add water to it to keep it damp. One more thing I can do is walk more and drive less. For example there is a website where you can put in your address in and find a place to walk. The last thing that comes to mind about reducing my carbon footprint is using less electricity. For example i can unplug my lights and other things i usually leave plugged in.

These two families are very different from my life style, but there are some similarities. For example how they eat is similar to how I eat. I will occasionally eat meat, but i try not to eat as much for the animals and just as a healthy life style. Secondly, how the first family heats and cools their house is similar to our I do. For example my house is cool in the winter and warm in the summer. But yet there is more. I don't eat out a lot, but i do about 1-4 times a month. But their are also a lot of differences. One example of that is I don't live in a one or two bedroom apartment. Also I have never used public transportation before. But I think the biggest difference I think is that i spend money on clothes, health, and makeup. For examples, i don't go shopping to much, but when i do I shop. That also goes for makeup products and health. In the end the two are very different from mine, but also very similar.
