First Nations communities don't have legal protection and enforcement that provinces and territories have. Some First Nations communities have been under water advisory for decades creating lower living standard and its not a stretch to say this is environmental racism.   As of March 21, 2022, 34 long term drinking water advisories were in effect in 29 communities. The Trudeau government has made a  un-fulfilled promise of ending all of the long term drinking water advisories by March 2021. Just one drinking advisory means as many as 5000 people lack access to safe drinking water, 73% of First Nations' water systems are at a high or medium risk to contamination according to The council of Canadians.

WHY? It's time to close the gap in the The Safe Drinking Water for First Nations Act, and time to honour UNDRIP. It's time to take responsibility!

This would ensure collaboration and adequate consistent funding to solve this human rights crisis and stop the neglect and racism associated with treatments of First Nations communities.</sup>

But We cannot sit and wait for their inaction as people are living  in an undignified matter that effects their health and quality of life.}

The Parliamentarian ^{specifically the NDP members who yield much power in this moment. We want a parliamentarians to propose a bill that would cut all the bureaucracy and ensure and be accountable for First Nations Communities}

-Indigenous activist Autumn Peltier- A water warrior, a water-rights activist, she is an Anishinaabekwe and a member of the Wiikwemkoong First Nations in 2018 aa the age of thirteen she pressed world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly on the issue of water protection, focus of the film "The water Walker and has pressed Trudeau directly on the impact of oil pipelines on environment especially on water and demanded for the Trudeau government to end all the long term water boil advisories on First Nations reserves by March 2021 that has not materialized.

-Canada's Chief Water Commissioner -leading way for future generations, the OPSEU/SEFPO Indigenous Circle's water Campaign committee that is looking for youths ages 4-25 years to express their concerns over the on going water crisis in Ontario and across Canada
- Bee Moonias- a 9 year old from Ontario's Neskantaga First Nations that used Twitter to send a video about how she misses water at home

- Nestle: It is a water company that extracts millions of liters of water from the land for the First Nations for profit, yet residents have no drinking water
- The Coastal GasLink Pipeline which is 670 km (416 miles) and other Oil pipe line company- Pipeline constructions is one of the major polluters and distractors of the water on First Nation Territories and Reserves.
