A biker is typically defined as a person who rides a motorcycle, often deeply involved in a dedicated subculture, lifestyle, and community, rather than just using it for transportation. They are closely associated with motorcycle clubs, custom bikes, and specific clothing.

The Ukrainian biker community is a vibrant and active subculture with classic motorcycle club traditions. There are clubs of various formats, from tightly structured MCs (Motorcycle Clubs) to loose associations. “Lions MC Ukrain”is one of the largest and oldest clubs, founded in 2005 in Lviv. It has over 10 branches across the country, including Kyiv, Drohobych, and Sumy. A large motorcycle association First Free Company was officially registered in Dnipro in 2019. It positions itself as a new format of freedom for independent riders. Other notable clubs are Iron Heads MC  in Kharkiv, Winds MC, Silver Star  in Zaporizhzhia, as well as Ukrainian charters of international clubs such as Hells Angels MC and Bandidos MC.
