What is consciousness? How is something we all experience, that is not tangible described? It's everything, anything and nothing all at the same time. It's what we feel and don't feel, and what we see and don't see. Christof Koch dives deeper into this topic below.

What is perception? Perception is something so important to our every day lives. Perception is essentially how we take in, experience and feel this great big world. This is explained in much more detail by Kendra Cherry in the article below.

In this exhibition we will be talking and learning all about consciousness and perception of the human mind and body. They are two separate entities although they work together in many ways. With this exhibition we will explore into detail, how consciousness and perception are on their own as well as how they are together. We will examine scientific articles, as well as videos and images. These artifacts will help us dive deeper into the unanswered questions of perception and consciousness and increase our understanding on both topics.
First we will explore into consciousness by itself, what it is, and where it is. We will engage into what consciousness as a whole really is, and how it's described. Then we'll move into perception on its own, what is perception, what senses and other things play roles in perception, how does perception differ between fictional and non fictional things. After examining perception and consciousness on their own, we'll study them together. How does perception affect consciousness? When does consciousness become perception? How do they work together to form each others response?
At the end of this exhibition it is not expected for any of the posed questions to be answered, but more expected to give some insight into the topics to give way for more questions.

Perception sometimes is overlooked, many people don't realize that our senses such as taste, smell, hearing, touch, and sight are all very large aspects of creating perception. In order for perception to be what it is, many factors such as the senses must be involved. In this article from The Neural Bases of Multisensory Processes, written by Mirjam Keetels and Jean Vroomen the idea of the connection between perception and the human senses is explained.

Of course we know consciousness is within us and comes from us, but where inside of us is it? Where are these connections and feelings that formulate into consciousness coming from? In this article from Science Alert, written by Fiona McDonald the question of where consciousness is located is attempted. Many scientists and researchers have no final definitive answer but there are many general ideas. In this article those ideas are explained.
