During this experience I constantly kept getting the wrong answer while using a formula. After a few tries I recalculated and figured out what step I was messing up then manipulated it and finally got the right answer. 
-Another experience I had with active meaningful learning was at home. During this experience I was learning how to play a new card game with my family. Even though they explained to me how the game worked, I didn’t fully understand until I watched them a few times and joined in as well. In this class when we learned new information we had to reflect on that information and see how it related to other things in life. Doing so, it helped me understand the information better because I was able to apply it to different aspects in life.

In the beginning of every PowerPoint he puts bulletins of what we should understand by the end of the PowerPoint. These bulletins help me know what to look for and do more research on so I have a better understanding.
-Another experience I had with intentional meaningful learning did not help me as much as the biology experience did. A past English teacher wanted us to read a whole chapter  of a book and take notes on it. When the teacher taught us elements and chemicals she instructed us to go home and make a “mock-apple pie.” This apple pie contained no apples, instead we used different ingredients that made it taste like an apple pie. Doing this helped us understand how chemicals can make different things.

When learning new shapes and formulas, she instructed us to look for those shapes in everyday things, such as buildings. When we had group discussion we could take the information we learned and see it from other people’s perspectives instead of just our own. Doing so, we could understand something from all sides instead of just one.
-Another experience I’ve had with cooperative meaningful learning was at work. While at work we are instructed to work as a team to get all our duties done.
