"To be persuasive we must be believable; to be believable we must be credible; credible we must be truthful.”

U.S. Journalist Edward R. Murrow

With my friends, we like to play to board games. So when one of us suggests doing a board game, he explains the rules and he takes the game in hand. However, I don’t know why, but the goal of one of my friends is to lose the game. So, he doesn’t play along, and it annoys everyone. So, the person in charge of the game decides not to play it. Sometimes, this friend will train an other one to follow him, and they find themselves making a contest of whoever loses faster. Finally, the person in charge of the game, excluded the two persons who didn’t respect the rules. We have to be just in our actions. – Cécile

A hardwork ! I wanted the school to be proud of us, that is my general goal : gratitude as the representor of a whole school. Because when we win, all the school wins. And the biggest difficulty in managing is the money, since everyone has to participate fairly.

“If You Make Listening and Observation Your Occupation, You Will Gain Much More Than You Can by Talk.“

Robert Baden-Powell

I remember the first time I've been responsible in an association of the Campus, I was named “ Director of Decoration” by the comitee whereas I just showed my motivation to be in the decoration team of the sporting event. I didn’t know how to manage. So I started giving task to the 5 girls of the team whereas they were in the same grade as mine, so I wasn’t in capacity to be superior. And then, when I felt that I was loosing control of the team, I took a step back and start to think of the role of a manager, of a Leader. And i finally understood that a manager can only, associate a person to a task that fits him. So I had to know them first, know what where they talent in decoration. And step by step, by “listening”, I discovered that one was competent in manual creation, another in drawing, another in painting and then, we have dispatched the role to their actors. And the communication and atmosphere between us was way better than at the begining ! They made the leader (me) grow !
- Anne-Liz

No one is going to do it for you."

Jaime Pressly

My classmates and I are currently in a project management group team. And each project management groups have his project manager (an elected classmate). Last friday, in the middle of the lunch break the project manager and I were working together on our Gantt Diagrams creation and we get stuck at a moment. The project manager was complaining again and again facing the complexity. I told him we could just contact our teacher to ask her more directions, but he kept on raging “ Why is this so complex seriously ?!!”.
So, I decided to face the problem and act. I’ve sent a message to the teacher and she replied 10 mn later ! She explained us the directives and then we wanted more informations about her directives. My classmate started to sigh "uff..". So I told him “ we can ask her if she has time for a videocall !” , he hesitated and then texted her. She joined us on the videocall whereas lunch break was about to end. Later, I said to my classmate “ you see...you better find solutions to problems by simple actions rather than complaning.”
- Anne-Liz

“To say you have no choice is to relieve yourself of responsibility.”

Patrick Ness

Presently, I’m the secretary of the Com’Music (an assocation of the campus) and as agreed with the board member, I’m the manager of the communication hub. This hub is composed with the communication director and 3 other girls. Since the begining of the school year, the director doesn’t handle the management of her subordinates and rarely replies. So as the manager of the hub I felt totally guilty of the dizorganised reception of the new subordinates in this association. So, I started to communicate directly with the girls as their director and give them tasks. But the worst is yet to come...

Once we had a big project for the “ Breast Cancer Awareness Month” (October) that consists of a daily playlist with music that honour women and was supposed to end with the interview and clip sharing of a Unilasalle student who made an engaged videoclip about female abused. The girls was really motivated at the begining and 3 days before we had to interview the student, nobody was replying, so I made a question list by myself, give the interview alone, write the posts on the social medias and share his video clip everywhere. So, to sum up, I’ve done all the communication by myself. I took all the responsibility of my hub. I could just postpone the interview. But because 3 weeks ago, we send an e-mail to all the campus about a surprise interview on a specific day, I couldn’t deceive those who were waiting for this interview and mostly, the student who was so happy that all the campus discover one of his creation. And fortunately, everybody in the association congratulates me. So I'm really happy of this little sacrifice.
- Anne-Liz
