Many things have changed, that includes assessment. Wether giving them papers to fill out we now have tons of different ways to evaluate them and assess their learning, and technology is there to help us. There are great resources that can be used for endless goals, endless possibilities and endless ways to get the most out of classes, and keep the students engaged. 
As seen in this module, we can even apply them  when following Bloom`s Taxonomy, which is a frame work by Benjamin Bloom based on building knowledge presented as skills and abillities, where students can grow progressively starting from aknowling news things to evaluating those things.

So much that I've been using it in my classes, wich has contribuited to  more thoughtful,  meaningful and fun classes. It has improved my practice and my skills too.
