         <description><![CDATA[<div>Rome is predominantly known for its immense archaeological heritage preserved in ancient Rome, traced mainly between the Seven Hills, including the Palatine, the Capitol, the Esquiline and the Quirinal. It is estimated that the city had at that time a hundred temples [10] of different architectural style, including those belonging to the Republican age and the imperial age. The main archaeological sites are:<br><br></div><div>Pantheon</div><div>Campo Marzio</div><div>Foro Romano</div><div>Fori imperiali<br>Teatro di Marcello<br>Colosseo<br>Terme di Caracalla<br>Terme di Costantino<br>Domus Aurea<br>Emporium<br>Terme di Tito<br>Mercati di Traiano<br>Mura aureliane<br>Mausoleo di Adriano<br>Mausoleo di Augusto<br>Circo Massimo<br><br></div><div>At the religious level, Rome is the largest city in the world of Catholic religion, with the highest concentration of churches and basilicas of various historical periods, from the fourth century to the present. Among the most famous are the Cathedral of St. John in Lateran, and the papal basilicas of St. John in Lateran, St. Peter in the Vatican, St. Mary Major, St. Paul outside the walls; Along with other basilicas such as the Basilica of San Lorenzo outside the walls, the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli and many others. The catacombs also have a visual and cultural impact, such as the catacombs of San Callisto, a burial place for martyrs, popes, and artistic importance for pacific paints.<br><br></div><div>Among the civil architectures are the Palazzo Senatorio on the Capitoline Hill, Palazzo Farnese, Palazzo Colonna, Barberini Palace, Palazzo del Quirinale, Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Montecitorio and the green areas of Villa Doria Pamphilj and Villa Borghese. To numerous squares such as Piazza Fontana, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia with the Victorian, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo.<br><br></div><div>The historic center of Rome is divided into XII rions, each of which is represented by certain historical monuments.<br><br></div>]]></description>
