I will have the students pick a song that best represents their personal identity. They will then play that song for the class and tell us why they picked it.

The students will get a human body out line with a key in the corner. The students will color in the picture with colors and will have to write what the color represents in their identity. For example, I might shade a leg in blue and say that represents me as a teacher.

The students will create their own youtube video about their identity. I will give the students complete control about what they want to say or use to express themselves (as long as its school appropriate). They will then have the option to send it to me personally or show it to the class.
