Don’t be afraid of failure, it's the way to succeed

When I was young at elementary school some of my friends were playing a sport called soccer. I had never played before and wanted to try it. I wasn't good at all and wanted to give up, but my friends told me not to. They wanted to help me get better. After practicing for a couple of weeks, we decided to play a full game, they could tell that I got better.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme don’t be afraid of failure, it's the way to succeed because it shows that I felt like I wouldn't be good at the sport they played. But my friends supported me and wanted to help me practice by showing me the ways they used to help them get better.

As the years past, I had gotten older and wanted to play for my middle school team. We had signed up to joined, but before leaving I saw a person who felt hesitant about joining. I went over to him and introduced myself, we talk for a little bit and I told him that he should join. He asked if I was sure about it and I said yes, he had signed up to play and the best we had gotten was 2nd.

How does this relate to the theme?

The reason why this relates to the theme is because you might feel scared or hesitant to try something new. But if you are able to do it, then try it because you might be able to meet people and gain new friends.

Going back to elementary school, I struggled a lot in ELA class. I was never able to get a good grade and had a hard time doing the work. It felt like I was never passing, making me have to retake the class. But my teacher had notice and invited me to help me after school. I got to learn technique's that he showed me and used them while doing the work, which help me a lot.

How does this relate to the theme?

This can relate to the theme because it shows to never be afraid of asking the teacher for help. They can show you different ways on how to make the work easier and not stress out about it.
