A)MANNERS WITH THE TEACHERS

-as a students,we have to respect and have some manners with our teachers

-they are many example of a good manners such as:

!Be kind & always pray for the goodness of your teacher at all times

!Don't get discouraged if the teacher gets angry, instead be patient and maintain respect for your teacher.

!Always completing the task that has been given to us

In conclusion,

Adab is the main core of a Muslim. Knowledge without the blessing of the teacher is useless. Knowledge come manners, if there is no manners you learn nothing.

A) HADITH JIBRIL

" O Muhammad, tell me about Islam"

The Messenger of Allah said:

-Islam is to testify that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger

-to perform prayers

-to give zakat

-to fast in Ramadhan

-and to make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so

He said:"You have spoken rightly"

PURPOSE

>to strengthen bond between us & Allah

>to strengthen bond between us & others

>to refining souls and keeping away major sins

>to make us the real servant of Allah

PILLAR OF IMAN

1) IMAN IN ALLAH

-there is no Creator or Sovereign except Allah, and indeed all affairs belong to Him alone, the creation is His creation, the sovereignty is His sovereignty and the command is His command.

-One’s senses also prove the existence of Allah, for we witness the alternating of the day and night, provision for every human and animal, and the management of the affairs of all creation; all of which prove His existence by clear-cut evidences.

2)IMAN IN THE ANGELS

-Iman in the angels is to have the unequivocal belief that to Allah belong angels that are in existence. it’s the 2nd Pillar of Iman.

-Name of Angels(Malaikat)

>Izra'il

>Munkar

>Nakir

>Raqib

>Atid

>Ridhwan

>Maalik

3)IMAN IN THE BOOKS

-To have an unequivocal belief that Allah revealed books to His prophets and messengers as a means of guidance for His slaves. They are from His actual Speech and whatever they contain is truth with no doubt in it whatsoever.

-The number of divine books mentioned in the Qur’an:

• The Suhuf of Ibrahim

• The Tawrah, which was the book that Allah revealed to Musa.

• The Zabur, which was the book that Allah revealed to Dawud.

• The Injil, which was the book that Allah revealed to ʿIsa.

• The Quran, which was the book that Allah revealed to Muhammad for all of mankind.

PILLAR OF IMAN

4) IMAN IN THE MESSENGERS

-It is obligatory to have Iman in all the prophets and messengers; whoever disbelieves in even one of them, he has disbelieved in all of them.

-A messenger is to whom Allah revealed specific legislation and commanded him to convey it to those who did not know of it, or those who knew of it but opposed it.

-A prophet is to whom Allah revealed previous legislation, to inform those around him who are members of that legislation and renew its teachings.

5) IMAN IN THE LAST DAY/ KIAMAT

-The Last Day is The Day of Judgment in which Allah will resurrect all of creation to be held to account and recompense.
-It was named as such because there is no day after it. The inhabitants of Paradise will reside in it forever, and likewise, the inhabitants of Hellfire will reside in it forever.

6) IMAN IN QADA' & QADAR

-Qadar (predestination) is Allah’s knowledge of everything in its appointed measure and written in the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz).

-It is the unequivocal belief that everything that occurs of good or bad is from Allah’s predestination and divine decree.

THE CONCEPT OF IHSAN AND ITS RELATION TO ISLAMIC ESCHATOLOGY

-The word ihsan is repeated 211 times in the Qur'an based on al-Mu'jam al-Mufahras li Alfaz al-Quran

-According to the Quran, there are 3 characteristics of al-Muhsin:

>do good to others

>giving kindness to others at the best level according to their respective abilities

>giving kindness intend for Allah

In conclusion,

As Muslims, we believe that kindness is one of the most important virtues. Allah has commanded us to be kind to our fellow human beings, no matter who they are or what they have done. Why? Because Allah is merciful and compassionate, He wants us to reflect His qualities in our lives.

MANNERS IN ISLAM

-Manners are a way of doing something or way of behavior, etiquette or it could be a person’s outward way of behaving toward others.

-The issue of good manners is very important in Islam, it is the basis of one’s success in his daily life through which someone could make a distinctive place in the Islamic community. 

*SURAH MARYAM

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّا ٤١

And mention in the Book ˹O Prophet, the story of˺ Abraham. He was surely a man of truth and a prophet.

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْـًۭٔا ٤٢

˹Remember˺ when he said to his father, “O dear father! Why do you worship what can neither hear nor see, nor benefit you at all?

يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى قَدْ جَآءَنِى مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ أَهْدِكَ صِرَٰطًۭا سَوِيًّۭا٤٣

O  dear father! I have certainly received some knowledge which you have not received, so follow me and I will guide you to the Straight Path.

APPRECIATION FOR NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT

-Having an environmental appreciation encourages developing awareness to the environment that surrounds an individual and an understanding of how one's social, natural and built environments affects health and well-being of a community.

-For example:

>Joining an environmental group: Getting involved with a local organization that works to protect the environment 

>Spending time in nature: Going on a hike or camping trip, or even just playing outside in a park or yard 

>Gardening: Getting close to the dirt and greenery, and noticing the details of insects and flowers 

-Appreciating nature can help to:

• Support good mental health

• Prevent distress

• Keep us emotionally, psychologically, and physically healthy

• Encourage others to protect the environment

"Actions are according to intentions, and everyone will get what was intended. Whoever migrates with an intention for Allah and His messenger, the migration will be for the sake of Allah and his Messenger. And whoever migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, then his migration will be for the sake of whatever he migrated for."

Related by Bukhari & Muslim

This hadith emphasizes on the importance of having an intention for every physical act that we do, and the importance of having a purpose for every action. It also brings to the forefront our conscious intention and the need to make the connection between our physical actions and their spiritual consequences.

The purpose of creation is to worship Allah SWT as mentioned in Surah Adh-Dhariyat

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦

"I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me."

Reason of Ibadah:

* Prayer

-fear of Allah

-Sincerity for the sake of Allah

*Fasting

-Recognizing Allah"s constant observation

-Weakening Satan influence

*Zakat

-Cleanses sins and bad traits

-Reduce greed

* Hajj

-avoid indecent acts, disobedience and disputes

KHUSYUK

-The act of the heart where it includes the feeling of fear and humility while facing Allah SWT and it is shown through the actions of someone who is calm, not mooving too much and being submissive and humble while praying.

STEPS TO ATTAIN KHUSYUK IN PRAYER

-Remembering death

-Does not perform the prayer hurriedly and hastily

-Understanding the meaning of the verses recited during prayer.

1. Al-Taah

   ! Total obedience to Allah commands

   ! Builds unwavering loyalty to Allah

   
   

2. Al-Jihad

   ! Striving for Allah's cause, spiritually and morally

   ! Overcoming distractions to mantain focus

   
   

3. Muhasabah

   ! Self-accountability and Self-conttemplation

   ! Evaluting actions and intentions before Allah

   
   

4. Tawaddu

   ! Humility/ Humbleness

   ! Acknowledge one's position as a servant of Allah

   
   

5. Iffah

   ! Self restraint from sinful behavior

   ! Avoidance of sinful behavior and desires

   
   

• Fostering Taqwa (God-consciousness): Fasting helps to enhance one's taqwa (awareness of God). By refraining from eating, drinking, and desires, Muslims learn to strengthen their connection with Allah and maintain discipline in their lives.

• Cultivating Patience: Fasting teaches patience. By enduring hunger and thirst throughout the day, and restraining oneself from actions that break the fast, Muslims learn to practice patience in the face of trials and challenges.

• Empathy for the Less Fortunate: Experiencing hunger and thirst makes Muslims more empathetic toward the poor and those who struggle to find enough food. It encourages a sense of solidarity and social responsibility to help others in need.

• Strengthening Faith and Devotion: Ramadan is a time to renew and deepen one's faith (iman) through increased worship. Muslims engage more in acts of devotion such as prayer (salat), reading the Qur'an, and supplication, all of which draw them closer to Allah.

• Purification of Wealth: Zakah purifies a person’s wealth by removing impurities or excess. It is seen as a way to cleanse the remaining wealth by sharing it with those in need, ensuring that wealth does not become a source of arrogance or greed.

• Spiritual Growth: Giving zakah strengthens a person's connection to Allah. By fulfilling this obligation, a Muslim’s faith is enhanced, and they experience the joy of helping others while acknowledging that all wealth ultimately comes from Allah.

• Developing a Sense of Social Responsibility: Zakah encourages social justice by redistributing wealth in society. It helps bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, ensuring that the less fortunate are cared for and have a chance to thrive.

• Reducing Poverty and Inequality: By giving zakah, the wealthier members of society contribute to reducing poverty and inequality. It helps to ensure that all individuals have access to basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter.

• Promoting Empathy and Compassion: Zakah fosters empathy and compassion for the less fortunate. Through the act of giving, a person develops a sense of understanding about the struggles faced by others, encouraging a spirit of solidarity.

Through the lessons and discussions, I have learned the importance of empathy, patience, and gratitude in everyday life. The teachings of Islam have provided me with a strong foundation to reflect on my actions and align them with the values of kindness, justice, and humility.Overall, this experience has made me more mindful and has given me a stronger sense of purpose in how I live day to day.
