It can be about <mark>love or patriotism</mark>. Kundiman, like other art songs, it is performed as a vocal composition combined with an instrumental accompaniment to achieve musical harmony. <br><br>The video below is an example of a kundiman song played by Michael Adap and Florante Aguilar.</div>]]></description>

A choir is composed with different voice categories such as <strong>soprano, alto, tenor, and bass</strong>. Before, choirs usually perform in churches, singing religious hymns during the mass. <br><br>The most well-known school choir is the choral group of the University of the Philippines, the Philippine Madrigal Singers or the <em>Madz</em>. The <em>Madz</em> is the most awarded choral groups in the Philippines.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Schools were used to be a venue for them to study other musical instruments such as violin, cello, etc. Luckily, <mark>these schools produced musicians that would later became the leaders in the development of Filipino contemporary music. </mark><br><br>One of them is Francisco Santiago who is sometimes called the Father of Kundiman Art Song. </div>]]></description>
