         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mahadeva was given poison by the other Gods and drank it because he believed he was protecting the humans. Parvati (another god) saw this and pressed her hands to his throat to prevent him from swallowing the poison. The poison stayed in his neck and turned it blue.</div>]]></description>

The triumvirate consists of three gods who are responsible for the creation, upkeep and destruction of the world. The other two gods are Vishnu and Shiva. Vishnu is the preserver of the universe, while Shiva's role is to destroy it in order to re-create.</div>]]></description>
