With the current political dynamics in many countries highlighting the impact of collective action, it is vital to keep this agenda alive and ensure people are supported. ActionAid Myanmar has a critical role in fostering discussions, building capacities, supporting communities, and encouraging activism to strengthen people’s voices and power

If not now, then when? This is the most critical time to engage and provide support. If we step back, we risk missing the most appropriate moment to make a lasting impact. I strongly believe this is the time for ActionAid to remain and witness the true harvest of what we’ve invested in communities over the last decade, especially with the youth

Putting aside the personal reasons, this is very much related to my personal expectations 1) to keep myself alive in this most depressing situation and 2) help to bring our brothers and sisters who are either in the jungle, prisons or even sacrificed their lives in the process.

Now, Myanmar is in the most darkest hours in generations. Actionaid would be just a flash of light for us in the dark and being with us is truly appreciated. Dang !! Let’s do some beautiful mistakes for our beautiful people rather having regretted later.
