I have felt that my cell phone has some information that I have not given, for example that the cell phone sometimes shows advertisements about things that I talked about but never looked for, as if the cell phone listened to what I say

yes I have, once when looking for something and my phone answered some questions with my info that the phone wasn’t supposed to have

No, I am really basic with the apps that I use and I am very careful when the same apps ask for my location or to have access to photos or contacts, I have never had a problem with that type of cases, but I have friends to whom personal aspects have been published due to irresponsibility in the social media.

I feel my phone has a lot of information from me that I haven’t provide, or that I haven’t authorize to share. I’m sure some apps that have my contact information, share them with other apps so I’m constantly getting emails from brands or apps I’ve never heard of but get my information somehow.

I feel like search engines and social media platforms work together to see what i like or what im interested in at the time and they take this information and share it amongst eachother to show me more things to stay on these apps longer, overall wasting my time and ruining me slowly.

I do feel my phone and my account may have information that i have not provided, usually it’s information that i have spoken or have thought, which is kind of scary knowing that it’s information that is used for some purposes that you may not know.

Yes i have felt that, it has happened to me that im in the middle of a conversation talking about something in my interest and when I enter my phone, the first thing I see is the thing i was just talking about. That is a rare situation and it explains how phones can disrupt our privacy

I do believe that my phone has extra information about me, for instance, the fact that my phone is listening to what I say and companies can access to that information for advertisement purposes makes me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes I think that we have been turned into numbers or variables for companies, and that makes me sick.

Finally, as far as I know, I have not been in the position where I’m not safe because of the information I shared

I think that my phone definitely collects data on me over time. In terms of history, photos, search’s, and all in between. There are certain websites or apps that will ask to use cookies which practically means they can track down what your searching for on the internet. My info has never been spread out but I know plenty of people who have been through it, it’s all about your digital footprint and the trail you leave behind on the internet
