I spoke to married couples, single women and men and included some divorce individuals to get their opinions on the topic. I wanted to be able to connect the issues I think globalism can cause but also wanted to point out the many positive aspects as well. Globalism has changed the way we view the head of household and modern family as well as we once knew. In society, we now see men are nurses and some women are forklift drivers. There are homes were the mother is the bread earner and the father is the stay at home parent (example movie Mr. Mom). In some situations, this can create problems within the home and in extreme cases lead to divorce. We now have more single parent families, both men and women. Statistics indicate that with the change of earnings of men and women there has been an increase in the divorce rate. We have more joint families now. Grandparents are now living with their children or raising their children's kids.
