Stance: Start with your feet shoulder-width apart, facing sideways to the net. Your non-dominant foot (left foot for right-handed players, right foot for left-handed players) should be slightly ahead of the other.

Grip: Hold the racket with your dominant hand using a continental grip. This grip allows for better control and versatility in serving.

Ball Placement: Hold the tennis ball in your non-dominant hand, slightly in front and to the side of your body. The ball should be positioned around waist height.

Toss: Use your non-dominant hand to toss the ball up in the air in front of you and slightly to the right (for right-handed players). The toss should be high enough to allow you to make contact with the ball at the optimal point.

Racket Position: As you toss the ball, bring your racket back behind your body, keeping it at around waist height. Your racket face should be slightly open to generate topspin on the serve.

Step and Rotate: As the ball reaches its peak, step forward with your front foot (non-dominant foot) and rotate your body towards the net. This rotation generates power for your serve.

Contact: Make contact with the ball at a point slightly in front and to the right of your body (for right-handed players). Your arm should be fully extended, and your wrist should snap forward upon contact to impart spin on the ball.

Follow Through: After making contact, continue the motion of your swing upwards and towards the court. Your racket should finish high above your shoulder, pointing towards the court.

Recovery: After completing your follow-through, quickly recover to a ready position to prepare for your next shot.

The backhand serve in tennis involves standing with feet shoulder-width apart and using an Eastern backhand grip. Holding the ball in the non-dominant hand, it's tossed slightly to the left (for right-handed players) while the racket is positioned waist-high with a slightly open face. As the ball reaches its peak, step forward with the front foot, rotating the body towards the net. Contact is made slightly in front and to the left of the body, followed by a fluid follow-through motion that finishes high above the shoulder. Quickly recovering to a ready position completes the serve, providing a versatile option to vary your game.

In singles badminton, players compete against each other on a court divided by a net. Here are the basic rules:

Scoring: Matches are typically played to 21 points. A point is scored on every serve, and a player must win by a margin of at least two points.

Serve: The server must stand inside their service court diagonally opposite to the receiver and hit the shuttlecock over the net to the opponent's service court. The serve must be underhand and below the server's waist. If the server wins the rally, they score a point and continue to serve. If the receiver wins the rally, they become the server.

Faults on Serve: If the server's foot crosses the service boundary line or if the shuttlecock is struck above the server's waist, it's a fault. If the shuttlecock fails to land in the opponent's service court or goes out of bounds, it's also a fault.

Rally: Players hit the shuttlecock back and forth over the net, aiming to land it in the opponent's court while preventing it from landing in their own. The rally continues until one player commits a fault, and the opponent earns a point.

Scoring During Rally: A player scores a point if the shuttlecock lands in the opponent's court, if the opponent commits a fault, or if the opponent fails to return the shuttlecock before it touches the ground.

Serving Rotation: The server rotates sides after winning a point and serves from the opposite service court for the next point.

Let: If the shuttlecock hits the net during a serve and lands in the proper service court, it's called a let, and the serve is retaken without penalty. During a rally, if a player is obstructed by the opponent or if there is interference, a let can be called, and the rally is replayed.

Out of Bounds: If the shuttlecock lands outside the court boundaries or touches the ceiling, lights, or walls, it's considered out of bounds, and the opponent earns a point.

Continuous Play: Players must maintain a continuous flow of play without undue delays. Each point should be played promptly after the completion of the previous point.
