Other play-based experiences I love observing oral language in are:
- Socio-dramatic play in the sandpit where they are cooking up cakes or busy being construction workers and communicating with others while engaged in this
- Exploratory play such as finger painting, slime or shaving foam and discovering the colours being made or discussing how it feels through their fingers
