         <description><![CDATA[<p>Simulators in nursing education allow students to translate their classroom knowledge into clinical practice. They also enhance students' self-confidence and communication abilities (Koukourikos et al., 2021). Moreover, simulators benefit new graduate nurses and patients by minimizing errors in nursing care. Several simulators can be used, such as a singular limb to help students practice IVs or a whole-body mannequin to practice CPR or in-and-out catheterization. With technology evolving, there are even virtual simulations that can be used for students who do not attend class in person, helping them gain the confidence they need. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Utilizing simulations in nursing education offers benefits, including increased self-confidence, improved communication skills, and the opportunity for nurses to refine their abilities. However, like anything else, there are drawbacks as well. For instance, a simulation is overseen by an educator who can pause and restart the session, whereas real-life scenarios do not allow such do-overs (Koukourikos et al., 2021). While students can restart simulations, this experience pales in comparison to caring for a real-life patient whose life may depend on them for sometimes twelve hours, which complicates students' ability to develop a genuine connection with the simulator as they would with an actual patient. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Simulation in Distance Learning</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Simulations are beneficial for distance learning; however, they are not the best way for student nurses to practice their skills. While virtual simulators offer students a chance to care for a patient, they do not compare to caring for an actual patient. They also do not help with communication skills because students can hide behind the computer and type their responses to patients. </p>]]></description>

The patients can communicate; there is a doctor that the nurse can consult; nurses can perform and carry out doctors' orders, and once patients are stable, they can be discharged. This benefits nurses or nursing students because they can communicate with the doctor, ask questions, and gain more critical thinking skills. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Padlet is presentation software with a blank wall for posting anything. The posts allow the person reading them to interact by commenting or liking them. This is an excellent way for people to ask questions if they do not understand something. The disadvantage of this presentation software is that it is not as organized as a PowerPoint presentation. It can also become cluttered with too many posts. It also does not have many customization options like other software. </p>]]></description>
