If it works, then choose two other destinations (same hotel group). Then introduce the idea that the conference rotates between three locations in Germany, moving each year. This is a model that the ECIS conference has been using. I have nothing against having the conference there in the future too, but I also like the idea of meeting somewhere else. Kind of fair that the people from south don't always need to travel to Hannover ;). Even if the new location is smaller than Hannover it is probably not a problem, we'll probably end up organizing a hybrid conference. Many will prefer an online conference in the near future, also cheaper for schools.
