         <description><![CDATA[<div>Along with their Key Projects, UNICEF is also actively working to promote rights for all children and implement them into our world while promoting SDGs. They are trying to:<br><br>- Provide basic needs like food, water and shelter for children who live in poverty (Goal 1 - End Poverty)<br>- Provide food for children and prevent malnutrition&nbsp;<br>(Goal 2 - Zero Hunger)<br>- Provide and strengthen healthcare systems across the globe. Health &amp; Nutrition is a huge project UNICEF is working on. (Goal 3 - Good Health &amp; Well-Being)<br>- Provide education for children in 147 countries while being inclusive to all children. UNICEF also has programs promoting education for boys and girls. (Goal 4 - Quality Education)<br>- Reduce inequalities and stereotypes between girls &amp; boys (Goal 5 - Gender Inequality)<br>- UNICEF's WASH program (Goal 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation)<br>- Use sustainable and renewable energy with their partners to protect and keep children safe. (Goal 7 - Affordable &amp; Clean Energy)<br>- Work with Generation Unlimited, one of UNICEF's many partners, to reduce Child Labour. (Goal 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth)<br>- UNICEF's Innovation Fund investing in improving innovation &amp; infrastructure. (Goal 9 - Industry, Innovation, &amp; Infrastructure)<br>- Reduce inequalities for children including gender, poverty, and social policy inequalities. They work in over 100 countries to provide access to clean water, proper sanitation and basic hygiene because "Safe water, toilets and good hygiene keep children alive and healthy." This also promotes Goal 6 of the UN's SDGs, "Clean water and Sanitation".&nbsp;<br><br>UNICEF has many other programs which promote several goals such as Health &amp; Nutrition or Adolescent Development as well.</div>]]></description>

(Goal 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities)<br>- "Engages girls and boys to promote responsible, climate-friendly consumption behaviours and set an example for their communities." (Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption &amp; Production)<br>- Make children the center of climate change, as it will greatly affect heir future, and encourage them to take action with response plans and strategies. (Goal 13 - Climate Action)<br>- Extending WASH and other programs to the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) where 25% of the world's population lives to help them with extreme water stress. (Goal 14 - Life Below Water)<br>- Encourage young boys and girls to share their views on Climate Change using platforms like "Voice for Youth". UNICEF is also partnered with the "Wild for Life" campaign to revoke illegal wildlife trade. (Goal 15 - Life on Land)<br>- Work towards making the world a safer and more peaceful place by protecting children from violence and advocating for their rights. They also support health, social work, justice and law enforcement programs. (Goal 16 - Peace, Justice &amp; Strong Institutions)<br>- UNICEF has many<a href="https://www.unicef.org/partnerships"> partners</a> who are actively helping them respond to; "285 humanitarian emergencies in 90 countries; support birth in health facilities for 27 million babies; provide three doses of the Pentavalent vaccine for an estimated 65.5 million children; support the education of 12 million children; and help treat 4 million children with severe acute malnutrition" as of 2018.
