On November 14, 1993, Francisco Miguel Lindor was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He started playing baseball at a young age. His father would hit ground balls from the top of a hill while Francisco stood at the bottom of the hill and tried to field them. At age 12, Lindor moved to Florida with his father and step mother and enrolled in Montverde academy. In 2011, when Lindor was 18 years old, he signed with the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft. On June 14, 2015, Lindor made his MLB debut as a pinch hitter against the Detroit Tigers. He hit a line drive to right field and while rounding first base on his way to second base, he tripped and fell, making his hit only a single. Later that year, Lindor was awarded the MLB Rookie of the Year. In 2016, Lindor lead the Indians to the World Series vs the Chicago Cubs. Unfortunately, the Indians lost in the 7th game, making the Cubs World Series Champs. Lindor still plays in the MLB today on the Cleveland Indians, being one of the best Shortstops in the world.
