In my opinion, this film is very important because it characterizes many of the difficulties in developing countries and shows the difficulty simply as a sanitary pad, which in developed countries is a banal and easy-to-use thing. In these countries it is a primary and unknown thing that is only now being manufactured and taught to women in these countries thanks to this initiative that can improve the lives of all these women and give exposure to all these delays at the level of developing countries.

My opinion about them winning the Oscar is that the win was deserved. With the Oscar win, the story of sanitary pads spread around the world and gave visibility to these sanitary pads. With this visibility, people started to help with money to create more machines.

I liked this film and I think that everyone should watch because we need to end with the idea that menstruation is an ilness and is something bad,specially, in the kind of culture that is showed in the film, where sometimes women have to give up from school. I really liked this film, because unfortunately there are many people who don't talk openly about the subject: period, and many of them think that it’s a disease, and with this short film it’s possible to somehow change that!

We were able to see that many women don’t have access to sanitary pads, something that is very normal for us, and with this we were also able to learn about other realities.
