Cement plants are significant sources (greater than petroleum refineries) of CO2 emissions and other air pollutants globally and in California The City of Oakland publicly supports the reduction of greenhouse gasses and opposes the transportation/storage/use of coal. They'll be out on Farmers Market days for community members to create prayer or wish ribbons and participate in the lei making.

We've also got some fabulous artwork incoming from Trust Your Struggle that will be mounted in our vacant windows.

E14 is also doing Saturday art markets with the next one on May 1st, and we've got a new gallery tenant, Omiiroo, two doors down from E14 on 9th St.

We're also hoping to get started on a big security camera installation around the property soon.
