Phonics- sound, tricky words and terminology (digraphs etc) recap everyday

Asking children which sound we have learnt today at the end of every day to help consolidate which sound they have learnt and help them to remember.

We use modelling and scaffolding daily, to teach the children daily basic and core skills such as using scissors, putting on their coat, managing basic needs. Repetition and dialogic talk is key in EYFS to ensure children are making gradual progress over time.
