I love getting to get together with family and friends, reflect on what I am thankful for, and getting to enjoy great food. Every year my husband, Jeremy and I have Thanksgiving Lunch at my father and mother-in-law's house. We have a wonderful meal with Jeremy's family including his parents, sisters, niece, uncle, aunt, and cousins. For supper that night we go to my parent's house. My granny, sister, brother-in-law, Mama, Daddy, nieces, and nephews attend. We usually create a Gingerbread house after the meal. Thanksgiving is such a great day with lots of good food, fun, and lots of time for family. We begin to cook some of the Thanksgiving feast a day in advance while we cook the turkey on Thanksgiving. We do host a family gathering at our house the house does become a full house on Thanksgiving with members of my extended family coming over. We cook the Thanksgiving feast with all the traditional fixings. We do serve some of the traditional desserts like apple pie, chocolate pie, but we do serve peanut butter pie and Oreo pie.
