Very commonly we see more and more the use of Social Networks being paramount in our lives, whether for communication, work, or even just to publicize your photos. But as not everything is flowers, everything has its downside, with the increase of people using social networks to “show off” posting their photos/videos daily... Therefore people arise who say "how to be'', on the internet. And those who do not fit this “Label”, are discarded, thus creating a gigantic community that wants to be just like these people, and is very afraid of being “discarded by the internet”, thus being “just one more” . Soon they create personalities... create a sea of immensity of everything they are not.

student - Henrique de oliveira santos

Social network, nowadays it is very common to use social network applications, whether to communicate or show the day to day of their lives, or even use them to gain some attention or to become famous.
With the execive use it is common for people to get addicted to posting pictures of life with friends, family, travel and among others. It is very true that this is the intention of the applications, it leaves the person addicted to spend hours and hours messing with social networks and on their cell phone or other device, the most common is the use of games, most people use it with the purpose of playing. For the heads of these presses, what matters is making money, and the more people using and consuming the product, the more money they earn.
But what we can see is not a consumption but an apocalypse of social networks.
Where people do absurd things to have a minute of fame, such as making videos in which they put themselves at risk, silly challenges, photos in forbidden places and among other things. Not to mention influencers, who use applications with such poor and useless content.
But it still has the good part, when it is used to help, encourage something good and productive, we can say without a doubt, without the internet and without applications life would be more complicated, we just have to know the correct way to use it. in our favor and that of all for the common good.

Student: Leonel Santos Melo Silva

Depression is still a big taboo in society as a whole, since this disease (yes, depression is a disease) is characterized, among other factors, by the inability to feel pleasure in life. This makes people with this type of psychological disorder to close down and not talk about their pain, and consequently avoid medical help. according to the Pan American Health Organization, worldwide there are more than 1 billion people affected by this psychological disorder. An alarming fact, but in today's society and trivially cited, A good example of this is hearing a transiently sad person say that they "have depression". This type of attitude only intensifies the psychic suffering, bringing even more pain to the person with mental disorders, since they often feel insecure by these types of comments that also bring psychological suffering.

student - Maria Luiza Germano Rodrigues.

It is currently very difficult not to find a person who is not on some social network. Technology along with social media is constantly growing and this growth makes more and more people isolate themselves from the real world and go to the virtual world. Instagram is one of the examples, the social network is full of posts with photos of users who usually portray something that is not real, often these users want to pass and show other people that their life is perfect, that they do not go through no difficulty, which has no problems and so on. This makes the people who are seeing these photos have an idea and make a comparison about how horrible their lives are compared to the user, who wanted to have a life like that and etc, and at the same time they often try to reach a standard. of life that unfortunately cannot. That's why you must be very careful not to go "headfirst" into the virtual social world and to make sure that nobody has a perfect life and that nobody is perfect and that all this can be an illusion to cover up for other people who in In fact, these users are experiencing problems, which may be even more serious than yours.

Addiction to games has become an increasingly frequent reality, whether electronics or even gambling. Usually, the habit of gambling represents a form of fun and leisure for people. On the other hand, a problem starts to set in when this habit damages social relationships, in addition to everyday life, when the player can no longer stop playing. As with alcohol or drug addiction, gambling addiction does not start overnight, but develops gradually. Some risk factors can also contribute to addiction to games, such as biological, psychological and social, after all, just playing is not enough to become addicted. Therefore, its diagnosis can only be made through an evaluation by a psychiatrist, and like any other disorder, it requires proper treatment. You cannot judge that someone is an addict and that this is harming the person's life without knowing more about the problem.

student: Dreyck Levy Santana Silva

Body dysmorphic disorder is a mental health problem that you can’t see you the way you really are and it took a large proportion in our lives since the beginning of the pandemic. When we didn’t have anything to do because of lockdown, we had a big wave of anxiety crisis and started to eat a lot of unhealthy foods because: some people used to discount anxiety on it, or because they were trying new cool recipes that were going on social media and we were really bored. Even when the “workout time” was trending, a bunch of people used to post videos of the before and after results of when they started doing exercises and it went viral, which made other people think that if they were not in that body pattern, they were overweight and they needed to lose this weight (by the way, stop eating was one of the ways that they found, so they started skipping meals, rejecting snacks and paying more attention to how many calories the food had), but was this even a reality? Were they really overweight or people’s bodies and how they work are totally different?
If we’re overweight or not, it’s none of people’s business but yours, so if you’re struggling with BDD and wanna start eating healthier or, if needed, loosing weight for yourself only, not just a nutritionist is important but a therapist is totally recommended so you can look at the mirror and see you just the way you are. I really hope you get over it and start seeing food as an important thing for you, not as your enemy.

Illy Gabrielly Lisboa Costa Matias

In recent years, xenophobia against Northeasterners has taken over the media in such a relatable and criminal way that today xenophobes do not hide their prejudice. Xenophobia is the uncontrollable fear of the unknown. It can be described as prejudice or mental illness. Much depends on the context in which it is used, which is prejudice and racism for us Northeasterners. It is not difficult to find Brazilians who understand that Northeasterners are sub-ethnic, or, after all, a miserable person in every way, including the uninformed. It is a crime to hate and discriminate against people of other races, cultures, beliefs and groups. This equates to a rate of 31.6 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, one of the highest intentional homicide rates in the world.
Brazilian society is one of the most unequal and stratified on the planet, where extreme poverty can be found alongside great wealth. The need for subsistence and unemployment can contribute to the emergence of crime. According to a police official from a poor neighborhood in São Paulo, "being a thief here is the best profession. Everyone respects him because the population admires spendthrifts, emerging people, ostentation and consumerism".
Police salaries are low, which makes it easy for them to be corrupted. The Military Police are considered violent and are protected by their own courts. The existence of four public police forces (Federal Police, Civil Police, Military Police and Municipal Police) hinders the efficiency of action. Justice is slow and ineffective, as well as being inaccessible to many due to high attorney fees. Prisons are precarious and often overcrowded, which does not favor rehabilitation.

Arthur Santos Lima da Silva

What Is SELIC?

The Selic is the basic interest rate for the Brazilian economy and it guides most of the operations that involve interest. And this ranges from loans, financing, credit card interest to financial investments.

But What Is The Objective?

The main objective of these consecutive increases in the Selic is to stop consumption and try to contain inflation. With the increase in interest rates, the tendency is for the population and companies to buy less, and as a result, prices fall.

Therefore, the increase in the Selic rate is a strategy to reduce inflation, as it impacts everything you consume.

What is the impact of the Selic increase?

The Selic, as the base rate of our economy, serves as a reference for calculating most interest rates.

This means that its high makes loans, financing and purchases in installments with interest weigh more on the population's pocket. However, when the Selic rate rises, the profitability of fixed income investments linked to the rate also rises.

CDBs are examples of good returns for investors. When this rate rises, the yield of CDBs is positively impacted.

By: Marcos Vinicius Souza

This question is very common, especially today. This search for the perfect photo, best angle, likes, comments, etc. deprive us of posting or that we really like disapproval.
I will go through it myself, I went with the series character Rue (played by Zendaya) who I really like "Euphoria". I thought about taking a picture and posting it but when I looked in the mirror I thought "but what if they think I'm ugly, that I don't get to her feet?"

Freedom of speech is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction by the government.

But, what's the limit of it? Some people argument that the freedom of speech has no limits, doesn't matter how it offend or hurt other people. In my point of view, the freedom of speech is limited to what intentions the person who says have, and how it affects the freedom of the other people. Other people freedom of speech cannot censure your freedom of speech. I think that jokes, considered wrong or black humor cannot be censored, considering that it doesn't affect directly the freedom of other people, and even if it offend other people, that doesn't censure them to show their opinion about it. But after all, i'd think that before us discuss about freedom of speech, we first need to define what's realy freedom for us, both on internet and in the psysical world.

Student: Felipe Carvalho Leal

1- The beginning of the drama takes place between 2006 and 2009, I didn't feel set in those years, if you don't pay attention you can even confuse and think that they are nowadays, the only thing that refers to those years are cell phones and some furniture in the characters' houses, even the clothes could be confused these days. Example of improvement, "a river runs through it " the Chinese drama takes place largely between 1999 and 2004, unlike "a love so Beautiful" you really see yourself in that scenario of passing millennium it's possible to see the places, houses, so much inside and outside of them, clothes, cell phones and household appliances and among other things. With the time cut that passes years later, you can see the difference from the beginning; how globalization and industrialization advanced in that time
2- Another point that we can also compare to "a river runs through it " is the passage of time of "a love so Beautiful", at first I didn't understand, it took me a few episodes to realize that in each episode a certain time passed, and when this was noticeable I was a little confused, even the events were getting confused, for example, the passages of the school years, they (the characters) were in the first year and a little while later they were in the second and practically in the same episode, they were already in the third, so it's not possible to have much idea of what happened during the exam period. In "a river runs through it" the time is well divided, you can see the transition from school to college, there is their introduction (the characters) in college, you get to see some of them studying in the college and how important this experience was for them.

Student: Flaviane Fontes Carvalho

However, these phenomena must be observed, as algorithms work tirelessly to recommend the user's tastes, thus, many times, making the being glazed. It would be a way to amplify the voice of oppressed groups and force political actions from brands or public figures. But today it is considered a kind of boycott in which an individual, usually a celebrity, who shared a questionable or controversial opinion, or who in the past had perceived offensive behavior on social media, is "cancelled".

The phenomenon began to gain more strength in 2017, when there was the #MeToo movement, which denounced sexual harassment and the abuse of known men against women.

Mariana da Costa Lisboa

the "culture" of rape in Brazil

Due to the increasing occurrence of rape in Brazil, it is almost a convention to say that Brazilians are immersed in a “rape culture”. However, the truth is that despite the supposed normality with which rape scenes are shared on social networks, rape is still not socially accepted. Countries like Uganda in Africa, for example, have a rape culture. In this region, children are taught that they must be careful not to be another victim of forced sex. Unfortunately in this region it is also common to boast of having committed this type of aggression. Unlike Brazil, where the rapist is usually arrested, Uganda lives a culture of sexual violence. However, unlike other nations, much of Brazil has an Internet connection. And due to impunity, our country is closer to a rape culture when several men rape a girl and publicize the crime on the Great Network without bothering to cover their face. Bilateral cooperation between social networks, mainly Facebook, and the Military and Civil Police is necessary to form a network that is capable of detecting possible rapists. This network must anonymously and carefully analyze the activity of Internet users and, using artificial intelligence algorithms, discover any evidence of a crime. After detection, the most likely cases should be investigated in order to uncover any wrongdoing. In this way, it will be possible to prevent crimes, reduce the ease with which rape is spread on the Internet and also punish the aggressors.

student: Elisson de jesus Souza

The creation and the entire process of developing a design is intimate to our conception and worldview. The result is entirely linked to the artist's ability to visually perceive, much more than to his manual skills. Every day, we are induced to make decisions leaving emotions aside, acting only in a rational and logical way, thus, we lose or do not acquire this ability to see in an artistic way, and the process of developing the drawing becomes more complex, soon , we come to believe that drawing is a gift. Artists themselves often do not know how to answer how or where the ability to develop a drawing comes from. Although it really seems like an intrinsic gift, drawing has much more to do with our perception. Thus, perfecting drawing techniques depends on practice. The earlier training begins, the easier it is to develop the necessary skills. The practice of drawing, in addition to improving our visual perception, also stimulates creativity, concentration and facilitates the learning and systematization of ideas. During the pandemic, drawing was like an escape from reality, mainly because of isolation and personal problems. By having this constant practice, it was possible to obtain personal development.

Racism in Brazil has been a major problem since the colonial and slavery era, imposed by Portuguese colonizers. A survey published in 2011 indicates that 63.7% of Brazilians consider that race interferes with the quality of life of citizens. For the majority of the 15,000 respondents, the difference between the lives of whites and non-whites is evident at work (71%), in issues related to justice and the police (68.3%) and in social relationships (65%). .[1] The term social apartheid has been used to describe various aspects of economic inequality, among others in Brazil, drawing a parallel with the separation of whites and blacks in South African society under the apartheid regime. The result of the survey, carried out in 2008, shows that, despite making up half of the Brazilian population, blacks elected little more than 8% of the 513 representatives chosen in the last election.

Aluna: Alana Almeida Barbosa

The Death Of The God

"God is dead!"

As soon as this sentence is said or written, there is an immediate shock in whoever is listening or reading it, as he interprets it literally, but when Nietzsche wrote that God was dead he was not referring to the real death of the divinity, but to detachment. of it, of the doctrines and values and rules it imposes on us.

Religion preaches that life is just a passage that aims to define, through our actions, whether we are worthy to enter the perfect and ideal world created by God. Nietzsche believed that the idea of a world that comes later, that exists on another plane or is unattainable, since what we inhabit would not be the “real” world, prevented us from enjoying life, seeking an imaginary goal.

The God who dies is not only of religions, it is also something to which one indoctrinates and dedicates one's life in favor of an afterlife that seems to never arrive or that only arrives after death. The death of God would lead us to review the values, goals and our concepts of, thus, a man above humanity of moral codes - regents at the time of the text -, named by Nietzsche of "superman". The man who loses the fear of God and detaches himself from his rules and concepts for him, the good and the truth, and as his own, thus loses himself more independent and the need for a superior lord who allows him to sustain a meaning exists, and that should be the simple fact of existing.

When dying, the great sense, we see ourselves with the threat of nihilism and the threat of nihilism and the freedom that is expected is facing the ruin that humans. can be carried out.

"God is dead! God is still dead! And we killed him!" (Nietzsche)

Men accept it in despair, as they would lose the notions of right and wrong, moral and immoral, being unable to accept the absence of an external reference, going to the new gods to indoctrinate. Nil, as Named Deleuze, describes that this is the false as the death of God's death and we look for new ones like the death of God's death and we look for new gods to replace. So how could this same man despair of himself and create his own ideas and values when he was always guided to follow the gods?

We adapt to nihilism and overcome the initial hope it causes, taking the reins of the situation and reinventing our concepts, finally freeing ourselves from the need to rely on an external figure. When the god dies, the man who is his image and likeness also dies, but he can be reborn and free himself from the bond of servitude to God.

Irla Geise Almeida Menezes, known as Abelhinha
2nd computer technician
