Screeners can be quick and effective at diagnosing dyslexia. I think as they refine the audio records that this approach can pick up things that the human ear can’t.

It has been recently proven that properly trained ML based predictors can be more accurate than human experts on specific tasks. Screeners like this could be very helpful to therapists.

Focuses more on reading performance but may not actually detect dyslexia cause some have been able to be a good reader but not a good decoder. Won’t get clear full picture of dyslexia.
