Stress can be found in all aspects of the social determinants of health. I further narrowed the social determinants by choosing the "Neighborhood & Built Environment" and the "Social & Community Context" because it can focus on the physical (built & community) and social (cultural & organizational) workplace environment.  The social aspects of stress, especially the culture of health and workplace have been studied.  However, the physical/tangible environment of work, I am not as aware of how it correlates to stress.
Question I seek to answer:
How does the built environment and the tangible physical resources in the workplace provide opportunities and decrease obstacles to better stress management reduction?
Purpose of investigation:
Identifying positive and negative triggers of stress resulting from the built and physical resources at the workplace
Objective of investigation:
1) Create a survey to assess the employees' perceived level of stress encountered from the built environment or physical resources at the workplace.
2) Restructuring the built environment can be expensive, what interventions and health behaviors can be implemented to enhance better stress management?
Benefits/Impacts:
-Providing alternative strategies to cope with the stress of the built environment.
