I noticed that the story stared before the play. It shows Promtheus telling the people about the fire. Instead of starting after Prometheus tells them about the fire, and what it can do. Then once Zeus finds out, it ends there, where as, normally, it tells of Prometheus's suffering.

The play did not include the two vultures eating his liver or Heracles but the book did. This play also didn't show his discussion with Zeus and him explaining the fire to the humans. It didn't show all the dialogue in the book, but the play also didn't have all that man did and what Zeus wanted humans. For, which was mainly worship. Not Hermes in the book. The plays starts with him being changed, and represents feelings as people.

The myth explains why Prometheus got the punishment he started with in the beginning of the play. In the play there was also no mention of the vultures coming every day to eat Prometheus' liver.
