The pros of doing a wordwalk are that you are able to introduce words to look for throughout the reading (allow students to recognize vocabulary words in context). Students are better able to understand what is happening within the story.

Yes, I plan to use this. I think it will be helpful for children to expand their word choice and understand the reading when coming across hard words
