Fact1- The voting age was lowered to 18 after the Vietnam war. 


Fact2- Lowering the voting age to 16 would be good for democracy. 


Fact3- Lowering the voting age would increase civic engagement at an earlier age.

“Yes, kids do need homework ‘cause it can help kids how to plan their time, manage distractions. Research shows that students that make effort to doing their homework are better at keeping track of their work and managing their time. When they begin middle school, high school they are more positive about learning than students that don’t do their homework.”

“No! Me and my kids argue more about homework than about anything else. Now that i’m an educator, i spend alot of time in schools. When it comes to homework alot of students are unhappy, many teachers and parents tell me they think homework is a waste of time. A group called Physicians Against Homework said that homework harmed students’ eyes and kept kids cooped up, denying them exercise and fresh air. Researchers at Standfort University found it causes considerable stress in students’ lives.”

“No, even though many teachers and parents are in favor of homework in elementary schools it’s also a big cause of stress in students’. Schools already have hours upon hours of time for students to memorize and learn things.”
