I live in Vista Hermosa, Cañaveral, and Penonome. I am Panamanian. I work in San Miguel Arriba, Penonome. I have students from kinder garden until sixth grade. My students are children from four to thirteen years old. My students are in a basic level of English. I have different quantities of students per classrooms but the minimum is thirteen and the maximum is twenty students. My classrooms are like a great family because they really love to work with others. They help each other despite not having the technology. My students love working with their hands. They have many skills in drawing and painting. Some of my students are afraid of participate actively in class because they do not want to commit mistakes. I have worked a lot to make them talk. My students have per classrooms five hours every week. I use computers to prepare my classes. I prepare power points presentation, I show them some videos and they listen sounds practicing pronunciation). I would like to have a language classroom but my school has some other needs. We have in some classrooms two grades. We do not have computers at school for our students.My English classes include oral conversations, reading and writing practices. I love to prepare dramatizations, songs and poems to participate in my school activities as “Students Have Talents”, “English Week” “Mother’s Day” and etc. in my English classes I used to explain the topics by using brainstorming. I review the topics by asking questions or asking my students to make a review of the last class. They solve practices on the board and on their notebooks and some other days I gave copies to solve puzzles, word search, tests and other classroom activities. I ask them to search information about a topic to discuss in class. They participate on debates and speeches. It depends of the topic we are dealing with. Today we had a great day. our Speaking class was about biology and Human Genome. There were some words involved as genetic information,chemistry,DNA,cells, genetic variation,genome and some others. We were discussing ssome  grammar rules that appeared in the text.  I completed  a chart with new words I found in the lecture. I wrote synonyms, part of speech,and  collocation words.I think it is interesting to know more than physical characteristics our organism has inside.I loved the conversational class we had with the professor Sue. We are learning many different thing about the UK culture. How can we say things, how can we ask for things if we visit the City Centre or if we are planning to go shopping. I was afraid to miss so much home that I did not realize that I enjoying my days in United kingdom.

I think some people tends to be more happy when they are released from estress and have free time to do what they like and the weekend it´s comming. They were sharing their ideas about good writting advantages and how they use writing activities in their classrooms. We agreed that writing improves our oral language but some of our students think it is bored. they say also that writing in English is complex and really difficult for them.I think we can change our students´ way of thinking about writing assigments throught goog strategies as asking them to write about interesting topics,giving the correct steps to start writing,brainstorming, outlining,giving useful examples for them etc.

What I like the most are  my  teachers of listening and speaking classes and the teacher Emmily because they listen to us and they are very loving. 
when they let us an assigment,they explain it very well. they are not teachers who like to talk and talk without paying attention to the students's opinions. They let us the chance to express our ideas. In a great teacher's classroom, each person's ideas and opinions are evaluated. Students feel safe to express their feelings and they learn to respect and listen to others. I think a good teacher is the one who provides classroom entertainment and gave very little homework. The great teachers however, work tiressly to create a challinging,nurturing environment for their students. I love the way my teachers are. They are accessible,enthusiastic and lovely. I like it because I feel comfortable and confidence to share any problem or funny story with them. These teachers have no fear of learning new strategies and incorporating new things into lessons. He is fantastic. The truth is that in the videos that I saw  about his methodology did not matter the age to teach the  vowels chart. Everybody was laughing and me too. I was trying to pronounce the vowels sounds and it was not difficult. It was most funny than other thing. Thank you professor for this great idea. It would help us to practice . I am studying at home with the sources you gave us. Thank you so much! Students should say what you said and they must add another object. It is a good warmer to remember things. I think warmers are important to engage students and keep them interesed in class. I also think that it is fun to learn through games. I belive that as teachers we should consider using these strategies to have more dynamism in our lessons. I was inmersed in the English culture so I could be learning the language with an authentic and funny experience. I would like to express what I liked and I disliked without any restrictions because it will help you to improve the program. The only thing I disliked was the Cambrige Trip. I was frustrated because we were alone in a place we did not know with a really cold weather. It was raining and I felt  we were worthless at that time . I wanted to cry in despair and belive me I was not the only one. I wanted to go home but  I did not know how. We did not visited interesting place. We could barely find a place to shelter from the cold and wait for the hour to return home. I am so sorry to tell you  this but  it is the worst experience I have had since it was not in my hands to solve it.  
On the other hand, I liked all of the  talking strategies  you used with us in a discussion, the writing strategies (journals,  padlets and etc.),the lectures and the webside sources you gave us to improve our English. I enjoyed the explanations and the way you have been with us. I will take into account the warmers to continue motivating my students and helping them to be relax when they are learning. I will provide the best invironment for them in spite of that we do not have the same sources and technology than here. When I visited the schools, I realised about that. I could notice that the lessons follow the same structure for children. In here sudents have reading tests when they are five years old and if the students do not know or achieve the phonic they do assesments to achieve the goals. When I was in that school listening to the students, I started remembering why I decided to teach and It is because I love children and It is wonderful to know that they love you and they are proud of having a teacher as you.
