The first will consist of the top three skills required for the entry-level management role, and this will be based on feedback from current managers. The second assessment would be at the end of the training to evaluate the learning gains. 
    Role of the Instructor
    The instructor should be able to identify qualities in the employees taking the course.  Additionally, it is important for the instructor to ensure that content is clear, concise, and applicable to all learners.
     
    Role of the Learner
    The learner has identified their short and long-term career goals. Furthermore, the learner should be an active participant in the classroom and be willing to receive feedback for development.      

    Both the instructor and the learner should be invested in the mission and vision of East County's economic development. Their contributions should reflect investment in the mission and values.
