The most important for helping you sleep is the Pineal gland. The Pineal gland produces melatonin, which helps regulate the sleep cycle. It is located on the back portion of the third cerebral ventricle of the brain. This gland lies in-between the two halves of the brain. The body requires rest so the muscle that you completely ripped apart while exercising/button mashing while playing Fortnite can repair and become stronger. Researchers have also shown that after people sleep, they tend to retain information and perform better on memory tasks.
