My Dad's birthday was Wednesday, and we celebrated by going to Saltgrass Steakhouse yesterday. On the day of hos birthday, my sister baked a cake after school and we sang him Happy birthday right after my mom got home from school! Every year it's different, though. The cake is never the same. One time, the cake was so good, I wanted to eat the whole thing! Another special moment from my Dad's birthday is when my Dad blew out the candles from the cake. Everyone was invited and we would wear our Halloween costumes while playing around the green and dancing to "Ghostbusters" and "The Monster Mash". Upper El. were the oldest kids so we had to decorate pumpkins while writing little stories for them. We would also create little skits and act them out in the "Spooky Walk" (which sadly became "to scary" for the E.C kids). My favorite skit was "Restaurant Cannabali" Where a couple trick-or-treaters came to a restaurant and ended up having an "Ax-ident". I ran from door to door, eager to get more candy, hoping for full sized Snickers. I saw decked out houses,  lawns filled with ghosts, graves, skeletons, a green fog lingering over the neighborhood.
