From ObliCon to Property, you have constantly told us that your goal was to make sure our tuition was not shortchanged. And that you did - with grace and compassion!

Your schedule kept us all grounded and gave us certainty in these uncertain times. But you made sure it was not airtight - you gave us breathing space. You may not have known it then but you saved us from bouts of despair and burnout when you permitted schedule changes.

You have fostered a learning environment that's both safe and challenging, with the light impeccable touches of humor (and the cameos from Maggie and Mimi, of course)!

We will always be grateful, Atty! You are a beacon of hope in these trying times. May your light shine even brighter!

Every enrollment, I always pray to be under your class in any subject because although it is a fact, that your classes are quite challenging, I know I will benefit so much from it in return. Hence, I was so happy to find out that I will be under your class for the third time.

This is one of the reasons why I try my best not to leave this school because a professor like you is so difficult to find.

I am very grateful because despite the change in school settings, you continued to teach us in the best ways that you can.

Your wit, passion, and humor give me so strength in class, especially now that my mental health has been declining tremendously.

You deserve every bit of praise and gratitude from us.

Even before the pandemic, I have always appreciated your teaching style. Despite the challenging and long coverage (at times), and the nerve-racking recitations, admittedly your training has pushed me to do better as a law student.

I was one of the first students called during your PFR and I remember saying that "I didn't read the case" thus getting a zero, after that moment I vowed that I should never say that in your classes ever again (and I haven't since Oblicon and now Property).

And now, despite this pandemic and modular setting, you still found a way to give us quality education without compromising our schedule. That is truly inspiring and awesome.

Thank you also for making our classes enjoyable by sharing some parts of your personal life to us, I personally looked forward to the online classes for cameos from your cute daughters <3

Despite the challenging task of teaching heavy subjects like ObliCon/Property in this pandemic, you never failed to give us quality discussions that will surely prepare us for the Bar. I am really thankful to be one of your students this semester. Although your classes are challenging, I find myself still enjoying it since I know that your lessons will always stick in my mind. Even though online classes can be daunting, you have never failed to make this class enjoyable. I really looked forward to your meeting codes and whenever one of your daughters show up in class. It has honestly been a hectic and exhausting 3-4 weeks but the quality of your delivery as a teacher always pushes me to endure and to give more and more. One thing I have learned this sem through your subject is that no pandemic can get in the way of quality learning when you have an excellent teacher with an excellent teaching style onboard. I have learned a lot from this subject, Atty. What I lacked in understanding the codal, your meaty discussions more than compensated.

I especially liked our pacing, your sense of organization and direction, your no nonsense discussions that focused on the basic and the essential. We need a lot of this in our future battles. Being your student is a whole roller coaster of wonderful experiences that nobody should ever miss in law school. Your energetic and cool personality brings us so much joy, almost making us forget that you assigned 20+ cases for that day hehe. But we wouldn’t have it any other way, Atty. Your training and way of teaching has prepared us for a lot of things, even beyond your subject. It taught us how to read and digest information quick despite time pressure, to spot the important points, and break it down into simpler concepts. You also taught us to take a break, and not to take it to heart whenever we mess up in recits or exams, because a failure today is always an avenue for more learning tomorrow. Hi, Atty! This has been the second time I was under your class and I couldn’t be more grateful. You made the long and difficult subjects seemingly easy for us. Prior to our class, I thought of how hard it is for Property Law to be taken up in just less than a month but it was always because of how you handled the class that made it possible. Even now that our classes are held online and a lot of us experience difficulties, you have always extended your patience and understanding. We may feel nervous upon entering every meeting, but there was never a time we left feeling tired and disempowered. We have always felt like we could pursue our law studies with head held high. From ObliCon to Property, your syllabus has literally become my trusty weapon of choice for your exams and quizzes. Your way of organizing topics and assigning cases has really become beneficial and has aided us in our study of the law.

The unprecedented shift from onsite classes to online classes did not hinder you from delivering good quality legal education. Your kindness and patience as a professor is worthy to be emulated, especially amidst this pandemic.

I love being your student! I learn so much from you—may it be through your recorded lectures or our nerve-racking synchronous sessions. It does not even feel like 4 weeks has gone by.

Being in your class really increases the nerves, may it be onsite or online, but it really pushes us to study better. Not only that, your lectures really help make everything easier.

Things may be difficult now but teachers like you have make things a little bit better. You can also be fun at times, and we do enjoy a little light chika in between to lessen the nerves during recitations.
