The particular concentration of children of immigrants, especially coming from Bangladesh, represents in the schools of the city an element, which is by now structurally destined to increase further in the short period.

It is true that these children were often born in Italy, but the inadequate infant school attendance does not allow them an appropriate learning of the Italian language.

It should be noted that the presence (in our town of 22,000 inhabitants) of so many nationalities and linguistic communities does not facilitate the socialization in Italian, which is sometimes only relegated at school; this lack of knowledge precludes also the possibility of a dialogue in the whole community and creates intercultural difficulties of understanding, which do not develop a united, educated and cohesive community with the risk of social unrest.
