She would have her students fill out a packet, and as they filled it out they would discuss their answers and she would have her students go up to the SmartBoard and fill out their answers. Children love any chance they can get to use the SmartBoard. This method encourages students to really try because they're willing and wanting to answer on the board. This allows the students to read along and they will not become bored as easily. I would definitely use the SMART board to have students engage with each other on projects/games/quizzes. I could see Middle School students using different tools to create presentations, interact, or listen to resources.
