I've chosen to look into one of the most viral events in history which is called the "9/11 attacks", in which planes crashed into the World Trade Centre towers in New York City. To provide a reliable and debatable analyses, I chose two popular news outlets, BBC News and Fox News, both of which offer unique perspectives on the tragic event. While BBC News on this outlet is suggesting the possibilities of the attacks being an inside job planned by the United States, Fox News presents the generally accepted story that the attacks were carried out by the Islamist jihadist organization al-Qaeda. By comparing and contrasting the coverage of these two sources

There are some visible differences between the vocabulary used by Fox News and BBC News when discussing the 9/11 attacks. For example, while BBC publishes about the possibility that the attacks were a result of an inside job, BBC News constantly defines this viewpoint as a conspiracy theory to avoid confirming it as a true event but only to speak on the behalf of rumours. And Fox news is acting as one of many news outlet repeating the same standard approved story of 911 blaming the terrorists.
Regarding the photos that go with their stories about the 9/11 attacks, Fox News and BBC News take different approaches. In the case of BBC News they choose to feature a photo of Matt Campbell who was the prominent advocate for a new investigation into the events of 9/11. This selection kinda meant some of the emphasis on people who don't agree with the government story and look for different reasons why the attacks happened, by which BBC still tried to ignore the rumors. But Fox News chooses a regular nighttime photo of the New York City skyline that kind of reminds of the tragic event.

When it comes to the sources they use for their coverage of the 9/11 attacks, BBC News is drawing from a range of sources, such as eyewitness reports and some unapproved rumours. Fox News typically concentrates on remembering the victims of the attacks by giving an explanation of what happened, without going too far into different hypotheses or sources.

when it comes to target audience, BBC was publishing this media outline for the the people who are having doubt and interest looking for this conspiracy theory, while fox news as the title suggested they were making simple anniversary post in 2018 remembering the victims and the event
