My target audience will be young people of all genders aged between 15-21. This is because young people are more likely to be interested in cultural events, such as concerts, as they are invested in pop culture and have more spare time, as they do not have full-time jobs or their own families.

Income

As young people are either unemployed or only work part-time, they will have a low disposable income. For this reason I will make my product priced between 30p-£1 so it is affordable for them. There will also be special exclusive offers, discounts, and competitions in my magazine and on the website, so my target audience will be available to access interesting products for a low price or for free, which make the reader more likely to purchase the magazine more frequently.

To appeal to my target audience the magazine will cover articles about regional cultural events and about people from the region that are involved in culture. For example, I will feature articles about musicians, and also include listings for gigs and exhibitions. I may also include letters from readers that have advice in them, as young people may be interested in advice from people around the same age who have been in similar predicaments to them.

My magazine will be targeted at young people of all genders and sexualities, so I have a wide audience. To appeal to as many people, I will feature articles about people from all genders, and will also include articles that are about the LGTBQA community.

Most young people spend a lot of time online, so I will include information about websites and apps in my product. I will also advertise the magazine's website and social media pages, so readers can access more content online and be more interactive with the magazine. A lot of young people are also interested in pop culture, like movies and video games, so I will also include content about those interests, and also about conventions and people involved in those career fields.
