So when will we do this exciting work! Right here on Zoom! We will meet together every Monday from 10-10:30. This way you will be able to ask questions and share your thinking with myself and other friends from class. This will be a fun and special time where we can be scientists together and each week I will post many other learning activities that you can do at home with your family.

In an NGSS science classroom, students do what scientists do in real life. We look at the world around us, ask questions and then set out to find explanations. Sometimes we might see things that are unusual or difficult to explain. Scientists call these types of things phenomenon. A good phenomena is observable, interesting, complex, and aligned to the appropriate standard. Here are the standards that will be covered in kindergarten:

Life Science - Plants and Animals (Parts, Survival & Growth)

Earth Science - Earth and Space (Sun, Moon & Stars)

Physical Science - Lights and Sound (Properties of Light & Sound)
