It requires a ladder to reach the top. It takes blood, sweat, and tears to reach each stage. The quote above just proves that we should not invalidate or belittle the teachers, as they are one of the reasons why we have knowledge and have become good human beings. It does not only take courage, passion, and hard work for them but also skills to be able to fit in the field. We know that teachers are not perfect, but when they teach, we can guarantee that they have a big heart for children. This concludes that teachers are students' mind helpers and students are teachers' strengths in teaching.

There are three concepts that struck me the most, and these are: The code of ethics for professional teachers: Article IV: "The Teacher and the Profession," Article VIII: "The Teacher and the Learner," and Article XI: "The Teacher as a Person."

Article IV: The Teacher and the Profession

Reading the sections of this article made me realize how important the teaching profession is to teachers. It is a profession that needs great preparation in order to achieve the standards required. In Section 1, it states that "the teacher shall insure that teaching is the noblest profession." In this, I can see that Teachers do not only work for themselves but for their professions as well to maintain their pride, which I think is a big help because they have more reason to be responsible and aware of their work.

Article VIII: The Teacher and the Learner

In this article, I see the importance of teacher-learner boundaries and connections. I've learned that teachers are not the only ones who should adjust or be more responsible for their actions, but the students as well. The dos and don'ts should be applied and performed by both the teacher and student. Through this, I've realized how immensely important it is to me as an educator to learn or have knowledge of these to be able to perform the profession without breaking the law or rules in the future.

Article XI: The Teacher as a Person

Lastly, this article struck me the most for the reason that I see the value of a teacher here not only as a worker but as a person itself. I've learned that she can be whoever she wants as long as she doesn't step on her profession. And in order to maintain their professionalism, they need to be more responsible not only in the school but outside as well.

Overall, I see how the code of ethics for professional teachers shapes the actions of the teacher, whether in school or outside school. I'm thankful as an educator because codes helped me strive harder to be able to perform the best way I can in front of my students in the future. In addition, these codes prove to me that the teaching profession is something to be proud of. It should not be underestimated or called "easy work" because the process to achieve this field is as hard as stone.

In relation to this, the acronym poem below serves as how I see and describe teaching profession.

T- The delivering of knowledge and learnings.
E - Effective and high quality service.
A - An instructor that knows well the students.
C - Cares about everyone's learning hindrances.
H - Having an extra knowledge rather than basic.
I - Influence students to be active.
N - No one should left behind mindset.
G - Growing with students until they succeeded.

P - Passionate about encouraging students.
R - Requires dedication and commitment.
O - Offers good training and practices.
F  - Focus on students' development.
E - Experience is willing to share as learnings.
S  – Serving an equal treatment.
S  - Shaping the future of students and the nation.
I - Improving the life of educators.
O - Objective and goal oriented.
N - Never judge and manipulate.

In conclusion, teaching profession may be a hard path to take but it will always be worth it. To myself and everyone who takes teaching as their profession, please serve the students because you love it. Teach them because you mean it, not because you need them.
