The holy eucharist

The Eucharist is the very sacrifice of the Body and Blood of Jesus and is represented with bread and wine. Jesus was the one who instituted the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper while celebrating the Passover Supper with his apostles. This sacrament helps us strengthen the soul and have a greater union with Christ in daily life.

The Eucharist is also presented as an introductory rite to the celebration and prepares us to listen to the word of the Lord, several of these rites have elements such as sacramental bread and sacramental wine that are consecrated on an altar and consumed.

Only communicants can consume the wine and bread, and can speak of both "receiving the Eucharist" and "celebrating the Eucharist" and for this reason, for Catholic believers, the Holy Eucharist is very important, since it contains everything that spiritual good of the Church, that is, Christ himself, our Passover and Bread of Life, who gives life to men through the Holy Spirit.

All people live this sacrament in their own way, one of them is the way of uniting art with the religious part and in the educational unit "La Presentation" my school, the Eucharist is lived in various ways, since they use the theme a lot of artistic expression and the last Eucharist I lived there was a dance that was performed by students from the school and a very good play that was in charge of the teacher Germán Obando who does this type of work every time, but this type of intervention it is what makes the Eucharist more dynamic and unusual.

To summarize the Eucharist is very important, since as I have mentioned it is the resurrection of Jesus, it is also the way of receiving the body and blood of Christ that are represented with the sacramental bread and wine, it also helps us to strengthen ourselves. the soul and have a greater union with Christ in daily life. Everyone lives this sacrament in their own way and in my school we live it in an artistic way as has already been said, where a series of artistic expressions are made that make it something very different.
