During our Texas Unit, students create a cactus out of playdoh.  Each student gets 10 toothpicks.  They take turns rolling dice and counting out the correct number of toothpicks (prickles) to place in their cactus.  First student to get all 10 prickles in his/her cactus wins.  Take them all our and play again.
