Vittorio P.
This mysterious story is about three orphans, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Bauldelaire. They both work together to solve clues to save Aunt Joesephine's life, these orphans also have to face Count Olaf a terrible person, who wanted the Bauldelaire fortune since the orphan's parents died.

This mysterious book probably fits into the genre of mystery, because the Bauldelaire orphans have to look for clues in order to not get captuered by Count Olaf. This book mostly takes place in Lake Lachrymose around in the 1980's. To me, the author does a terrific job on making you feel there because, he describes how the landscape is formed and the people act and react there there too.

The main characters are absolutely believable, because all three of the orphans sometimes get along together and sometimes they don't get along. Violet is thirteen and likes to invent things, Klaus is eleven and loves to read, and Sunny is a adorable infant who likes to bite on things. I do know someone that loves to invent, and thats me. The author does describe how they feel very much, but the author also doesn't describe how they look like or facial expressions.

I love how the author uses the words because sometimes the author uses very deep figurative language.

I would recommend this book if you enjoy mystery and excitement with a lot of dramatic surprises. Overall I loved this mysterious book

J. K. Rowling
Nicole M
The story is about a boy named Harry Potter who lived with the Dursleys who hated Harry and he never knew we was a wizard until Hagrid finds Harry and invites him to a school called Hogwarts. He was put in the Gryffindor house. He meets a boy named Ron Weasley on the bus. Then meets a girl named Hermoine. They go on a Mission of someone stealing the Sorcerers Stone. It includes an evil wizard named Voldemort who tried to 🤬 Harry but he survived which is how he got his scar. Then Harry potter goes back to the dursleys for summer.

This book is a fantasy book because it includes magic, witches, wizards, unicorns, and more.

The action starts taking place in chapter twelve because that is when the when the mystery is revealed and they figure out more than before. The author does a great job.

I think my friend acts like Harry Potter because she is always brave and does try to protect others. i have another that acts like Ron Weasley because he does like do act the way he does and is funny who loves mysteries. I know someone who is like Hermoine because she tries hard to do good in all her classes and knows what to do and is nice and helps others.

I love how the author had a character think something but doesn't tell you what others think, then, they figure out what they think which is always a big part of the mystery. I like how the author uses the words.

THE BOOKS BEST MOMENT
It was Quirrell. "You!" gasped Harry. Quirrell smiled. His face wasn't twitching at all. "Me," he said calmly. "I wondered whether I'd be meeting you here, Potter." "But I though -Snape-" "Severus?" Quirrell laughed, and it wasn't his usual quivering treble, either, but cold and sharp. "yes, Severus does seem the type, doesn't he? so useful to have him swooping around like an overgrown bat. Next to him' who would suspect p-p-poor, st-stuttering P-professor Quirrell?"

I loved the book. It was so mysterious and contained so many amazing parts that would surprise you if you read it. Its explains different characters and reveals more secrets every time.

The Endermen Invasion by: Winter Morgan, Charlie R.

The book The Endermen Invasion is a trilling book about Steve and his friends Kyra, Max, Lucy, and Henry all go to a building contest but, the only problem is that only five Minecrafters are chosen out of hundreds but Steve was lucky to get seleced so he let his friends come with him. During the week, on the second day had endermen spawning on mushroom island ware the contest was being held. When Steve saw them, he ran to the water, killing the endermen. After geting out of the water he saw endermites attacking his friends, so he rushed to help them. After that the players went back to building there houses for the contest. The story is an adventure filled book for the kids and adults who play Minecraft. The book's action is somewhere near the beginning of the book. The book just makes you feel you are in the battle (mainly for people with great imagination). Steve's friends are like me, they love going on adventures and exploration and Ms. Morgan describes them in the best ways. Steve is a normal wheat farmer, Kyra is a master builder, and Henry, Lucy, and Max are explorers. I love how the author used specific words to make you feel like you are there as a friend someone let you come with or a judge in the moment. One moment I'm talking about is when an ender dragon spawns on the island and all the players are fighting for there lives. In all I recommend to all people who love Mineraft like me.

Please format your review in the following way:

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince- J.k Rowling
Zara Zaman

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince is a Fantasy story set in England.Harry is a wizard and now is 16.Ever since the newspaper , the daily prophet has been encouraging people that Harry only being 16 will save them from You-know-who or Voldemort , the evil dark wizard planning to 🤬 all mud-bloods and Non-magic folk. The prophet puts pressure on him and as he sees the wizard world being teared by feared he has to fight as the chosen one. However he still has romance with Ginny , his best friend's sister. All tho , this isn't all , Ron also has a romance with the clingy Lavender in competion with brave and funny Hermione. The writing style makes you look up words that you just might look up in to use in your daily life. The charaters are not belivable but do you remind you of people you know and are relatible.Ron reminds me of my friend , Lark.

FAVORITE SCENE

Harry looked around; there was Ginny running toward him; she had a hard, blazing look in her face as she threw her arms around him.And without thinking, and without planning , without worrying about the fact fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her.

This is my favorite part because the paragraph is so short but has so much happening you just want to scream and smile. Its make you feel as if there is something stuck in you throat without screaming.Thats why it my favorite scene

Afterall i rate this book 5/5 stars!

She is now living in her uncle's old manor, where she finds a mysterious locked up garden, and maybe some new friends along the way.
~I think this book fits into the Realistic Fiction genre because all of the characters in this story are believable, and the scenes in this story can resemble real life events.
~In my opinion, the main action of the story takes place when Mary finds the secret garden for the first time. She dug up the key, and was so surprised, because nobody had ever gotten in for the past 10 years!
~

Harry Potter AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS

J. K. Rowling
Nicole M.

Harry Potter AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS is about Harry Potter and a new mystery where voldemort comes back in a chamber using a dairy he wrote in when he was 16 using his old name Tom Riddle. He drags Ginny in (Ron's sister) and uses her to ope the chamber but didn't know what she was doing. Ginny was talking to volemort not knowing it was him and took him out the diary that set Ginny in danger and in the chamber was a gigantic serpent snake called the basilisk and if you look in its eyes you would no longer live. Dumbledore's pheonix helped while Hermoine was in the Hospital wing and Ron and Gilderoy Lockhart waited behind the rock wall as Harry went in the chamber.
It is has two genres, its a mystery and fantasy book.

The book starts getting good at chapter 16 where they find more about the mystery in there school and enter a chamber many miles under the school. The author explains the place so well that i can have a full picture of what the chamber looks like.
I know someone like Ginny because she is nice, caring, persuasive and more. I don't know anyone who is like Voldemort because he is evil and he maybe started nice and became evil, i don't know because he is still very mysterious.
MY FAVORITE SCENE
"so ends the famous Harry Potter," said Riddle's distant voice. Alone in the Chamber of Secrets, forsaken by his friends, defeated at last by the Dark Lord he so unwisely challenged. You'll be back with your dear mudblood mother soon, Harry . . . . She brought you twelve years of borrowed time . . . but Lord Voldemort got you in the end, as you knew he must . . . ."
It is my favorite part because I didn't know what was going to happen too Harry and Ginny and the rest who where waiting for him because, it looked like he might not make it.

Harry Potter AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN

J. K. Rowling
Nicole M.

Harry Potter AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN is about A person named Sirius Black who was the escaped a wizard prison that now one ever escaped before and everyone talked about how he is after Harry Potter trying to 🤬 him and he partnered with Lord Voldemort but figured out it wasn't true and he did escape the prison but was a good person and his friend betrayed them and Harry figured out more about his parents. They saved Him from dying since a dementor was going to 🤬 him from something called a Dementors Kiss by going back in time not interfering with their past selves. They also saved a hippogriff and flew it to Sirius Black's room that he stayed before he almost died. They saved them and since the incident with the dark arts teacher, he resigned and he was the best one yet. His Godfather or Parents best friend sent him a note on the way home.
The book fits into the mystery genre because you don't now whats going to happen and there re so many different clues and mysteries.
The action part comes in chapter 16 where they actually start to see Sirius Black. I can actually imagine the whole scene of Sirius and Harry together and figure out he is nice. They explained the scenes by describing the places and then explains what they say and other features.
I don't know anyone like Sirius because people thought he was bad but was good and I haven't met anyone like that
I do like the way the author uses but there were words we didn't use here that were confusing for me and I didn't know what it meant and I had to figure out.
MY FAVORITE PART
It took a few seconds for the absurdity of this statement to sink in. Then Ron voiced what Harry was thinking. "There both mental" "Ridiculous!" said Hermoine faintly. "Peter Pettigrew's dead!" said Harry. "He killed him twelve years ago!" He pointed at Black, whose face was twitched convulsively. "I meant to," he growled, his yellow teeth bared, "but little Peter got the better of me. . . not this time, though!' And Crookshanks was thrown to the floor as Black's weight lunged at scabbers; Ron yelled with pain as Black's weight fell on his broken leg. 'Sirius, NO!" Lupin yelled, launching himself forwards and dragging Black away from Ron again. "WAIT! You can't do it just like that - they need to understand - we've got to explain -"
I loved the book and i give it 5 out of 5 rating.

Alizee Z.
This book is a good book. The story is about a troubled kid named Cole and how he went to a remote island. Cole Matthews could have gone to prison but with the help of his parole officer Garvey. He went to this American Native circle Justice Circle. He could have gone to prison because of assaulting Peter Dircals by smashing his skull on the sidewalk!

This book can fit into a genre because it is Fiction and also children's literature. It is based on someones Imagination and not on a true story, the intended readers are older children.

This book took place on a island near the city of Drake in South Eastern Alaska . The author does a good job of describing the story by putting in a lot of details, and how they sated how the weather and sounds were like. The emotions of the people in the book also helped the story a lot.

The main character Cole is really believable because there are people that come from abusive homes, get very angry and deal with there anger by hurting others. I now different people that get very😡 angry and that will hit objects but not people.

Yes I like it because I could understand his writing style easily and could describe things in detail and I was able to see the images in my mind because how he described it.

Anastasia Krupnik- Lois Lowry
Adrienne S.
. Anastasia is ten years old in fourth grade with 14 freckles and glasses. Anastasia has a green notebook filled with things she loves and things she hates. Anastasia had a crush on a boy named Washburn Cumming. Anastasia's parents told her that they were having a baby and she got mad.

This story is Realistic Fiction because all of these events are not based on true events. I think this because Anastasia in this story is very kind, unique and exciting. This action took place at Myron and Katherine Krupnik's house. These are the names of Anastasia's parents.I think the author did a good job on making me feel like if I was there. I think that because when Anastasia was at grandma 's elder apartment the author was saying how it smelled and look liked.

I think the main characters are believable because when they first say the person they say what they do and how they do it. I know this one girl in my class that acts almost the same as Anastasia. I think the author does describe the characters. I love how at the end of each chapter the author always puts a picture on what she wrote in her green book. What I dislike about the book is that the chapters are to long. I dislike the way the author uses words because he described the characters personality and what they look like. " You guys can have the baby while I am gone and finished pacing all of my stuff.".🤬💔
.

Vittorio P.
This miserable story is about three intelligent and talented children, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Bauldelaire, whom their parents have perished in a terrible fire, and move to a new terrible home of a terrible, and dispicable man Count Olaf. Then, they move to another home of a friendly, nice, short, and chubby, Dr Montgomery, who is fond of snakes and plans to go to an expedition to Peru with the Bauldelaires. Count Olaf disguises himself as Stephano, Dr Montgomery's assistant! Fortunately the Bauldelaires found some evidence and caught Count Olaf, But, Count Olaf managed to escape!

This book full of misery and mystery, obviously fits in the genre of mystery because of the massive suspension there is in this crazy book. This book is in mystery because sometimes Count Olaf without knowing, reveals clues to the Bauldelaires, and soon gets exposed to Mr Poe- the Bauldelare's parent close friend.

This book full of surprises all takes place at Dr Montgomery's big home, The Reptile Room-located in Dr Montgomery's house. This book takes place around the
1980's.

the characters in the story are very, very believable because all three children have intelligance and talents, to expose Count Olaf. Violet is thierteen and likes to read but most of all she loves to invent all sorts of things, you know when she is fully concentrated, when she has her ribbon tied, up to keep her hair out of eyes. klaus is the middle child, ten, he loves to read, especially all night long. Sunny is an infant, and loves to bite and chew on things.

I love the writing style that Lemony Snicket uses because he explains what he is telling in the story. He epecially explains what completely doesn't make sense.

One quote that shows that Lemony Snicket is extremely good at explaining idioms is ""Meanwhile, back at the ranch" is a phrase used to link what is going on in another part of the story, and it has nothing to do with cows or horses or with any people who wok in rural areas where ranches are, or even with ranch dressing, which is creamy and put on salads."

This mysterious book is so amazing that I would recommend anyone to read this amazing story, and if you can read the series it is so mysterious!

Maria G
One thing that I have to start with is that this story is told from not one perspective but THREE. This story is very interesting and believable because this story takes place in different places but the main place is a camp in the middle of nowhere called Moon Shadow Camp. One person named Alpha Summer nickname Ally lives on the camp for practically her whole life with her Mom, Dad, and younger brother Kenny Summer. Ally loves living at Moon Shadow and all the amazing things there because its all so interesting and you feel free at times.
The Miserable Mill-Lemony Snicket

Vittorio P.
This miserable and full of suspense story is about three orphans who their parents have perished in a terrible fire. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Bauldelaire have been sent to the Lucky Smells Lumber Mill, by a relative who's name is quite impossible to pernounce. But when they arrive, they are welcomed by a close friend of theirs which they never wanted to see ever again. The three Bauldelaires find clues to bring their unfortunate lives to justice.

This miserable story definitely fits into the genre of misery, mystery, and suspense, because in the story Shirley or should I say, Count Olaf unconsciously leaves clues that the Bauldelaires figure out, but they they figure it out too late.

This book full of suspense takes place in The Lucky Smells Lumbermill, Paltryville. The book does not say when the story take place. But I think that the story is happening around in the 1980's.

The characters in the story are totally believable. They are believable because Violet is thirteen, Klaus is eleven, and Sunny is a small infant. Violet is an inventor, you will that she is really thinking hard, when she has her hair tied up in a ribbon, to keep her hair out of her eyes. Klaus loves to read and wears glasses, he loves to have a pleasant afternoon reading books. Sunny likes to bite on hard surfaces and has four sharp teeth in her mouth.

I am satisfied at how Lemony Snicket writes, because he is really good at explaining the scenery.

A quote that proves that Lemony Snicket is really good at discribing the scenery is, "When the children walked across the dirt-floored courtyard to the lumbermill, they took a good look at their fellow employees. It would have been just like Count Olaf to get himself hired as an employee, snatch the orphans away while Forman Flacutono wasn't looking. But although all the workers looked tired, and sad, and hungry, none of them looked evil, or greedy, or had such awful manners."

I would highly recoomend this book, especially if you enjoy mysery, suspence, and mystery!
