Ruth’s routine
When I go to bed, I usually brush my teeth at 8:00 o’clock after dinner, but sometimes I forget it, and then I have to get up in the middle of the night to do so. Occasionally, when I'm too lazy, I set up an alarm just for that. On the other hand, there is one thing I'll never be able to do, and it is washing my face before bed because that always wakes me up. In the morning, I always wake up and immediately and take a shower, I usually put on shorts and a t-shirt, sometimes I wear a formal dress when I have to go to work. I often have eggs for breakfast, but always I must drink a delicious coffee.

Activity A: Complete the chart using the information above.

“Sancocho de gallina o pollo”
What is this recipe?
“Sancocho” is a thick broth or soup made from tubers such as potatoes that have a high rate of calories and fat. The most outstanding ingredients of the Sancocho and that in this recipe we are going to use are cassava or yams, banana, legumes (beans, peas, lentils, pigeon peas, broad beans), to which some meat is added.

Ingredients:
1 unit of chicken or whole hen
4 units of Potatoes peeled and chopped in large size
2 units of green bananas chopped by hand not very small
1 unit of Yuca cut and peeled
1 unit of finely chopped onion with tomato
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 soup box of your favorite flavor
A little of color
50 grams of Parsley
100 grams of Coriander
40 grams of salt
1 unit of avocado for the companion

Process:
1. Boil the water
2. Then add the chicken and salt until it boils again
3. When the chicken is almost ready, if the broth is not very greasy, add the green plantain to cook in hot water, if it has a lot of fat, you can make a minimum change of water.
4. As soon as it has already boiled, add the other ingredients and if you want to use other tubers, add it as well.
5. Then the hen is removed to give space to the cooking ingredients and the thickness depends on that.
6. It is stirred so that the denser ingredients that go to the bottom do not stick
7. When the flavor and thickness are ideal, turn off
8. It is served immediately in a deep dish, which can be accompanied by avocado or your favorite salad, it is also very common to eat it with rice.
9. I enjoy the delicious sancocho de gallina.
